TREATMENT OF JAW JOINT DISORDERS

Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders are complex conditions that are usually not related solely to problems with the bite or the joint itself. It can be a manifestation of much deeper imbalances in the body, involving factors such as muscles, bones, posture, and even emotional state.

TMJ disorders manifest themselves in various symptoms: jaw, head, or neck pain, clicking, ringing in the ears, muscle tension, difficulty chewing or opening the mouth. These symptoms can greatly affect quality of life and daily activities.

Our approach to treatment is comprehensive – we work with physical therapists and osteopaths to achieve long-term results. Each patient's situation is unique, so treatment is tailored to the individual: we take into account not only the symptoms, but also posture, lifestyle, muscle tone, injuries, and other aspects of the body.
